NEW YORK, Oct 15 (Reuters) – Top U.S. oil producer Exxon Mobil Corp (XOM.N), opens new tab plans to sell a portion of its assets in North Dakota’s Bakken shale formation, the company told Reuters on Tuesday.
BISMARCK – North Dakota produced 1.167 million barrels of oil a day in July, down about 1.5% in July but 6% above the revenue forecast, according to the assistant director of the North Dakota Department of Mineral Resources. In June, the state produced 1.186 million barrels of oil a day.
State’s oil and gas industry experienced significant growth in June, with increased production and operational wells being driven by technological advancements and favorable market conditions.
